One thing is for sure that no matter which console you choose is that neither one of are perfect. Both of them can break and unless you have a warranty you will be very mad so be sure to get a warranty with your console.

Xbox 360

Now the Xbox 360. The Xbox is cheaper and has way better online play compared to the PS3.

PS3

Lets start with the PS3. A lot people choose the Xbox 360 over the PS3 simply because of price. But I'd like to point out that because Xbox Live isn't free compared to the PS3 where the online play is free it does even out over time. PS3 also comes with a Blue-Ray player and you have to remember the fact that it comes with a lot more memory than the Xbox 360. The PS3 is really a great buy for a lot of people.
